Jeremiah has served in Christian church ministry since 2005, including serving in different pastoral roles. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and has been a leader in both clinical and corporate settings, including as an Administrative Director for a group practice, and management in human resources. Jeremiah also teaches psychology and counseling as faculty at Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon
As an ordained minister, as well as having earned a Master of Arts in Counseling, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies, Jeremiah is experienced and thoroughly trained to work with and speak to individuals and groups navigating a variety of relational, emotional, as well as spiritual concerns and distresses.
In his clinical work, Jeremiah specializes in issues regarding feelings of depression and anxiousness, as well as grief, loss, childhood trauma, abuse, and self-esteem and self-worth. Jeremiah also specializes in marriage counseling, especially in situations involving high conflict and distress. His marriage workshop and workbook Cultivating Closeness has been toured and been featured in Pacific Northwest area churches. He currently provides counseling services through A New Life Christian Counseling in Vancouver, WA.
Jeremiah is a sought out speaker and trainer for Christian church events, workshops, retreats, and is also available for leadership team development and church consultations.
